The first cooperative in Valtellina - the same commitment, more and more sustainability in the choices. This historic cooperative has transformed itself over the years to protect the knowledge and flavours of a complex and interesting cheese-making area. That is why in the cheeses you can still smell the scents of the flowers and herbs of the meadows, where in summer the Alpine Browns, the indigenous breed, graze.
For the cooperative, the quality of the shepherds and cheesemakers work is fundamental, as well as animal welfare and environmental protection; 30% of production is already converted to organic.
The dairy has opened a shop with appetisers on the main road (you will recognise the little wooden house) where you can buy all fresh, zero-kilometre products: milk, butter, cream, yoghurt, fresh or mature cheeses (including goat), eggs, nectars and jams. We recommend the yoghurt in a jar: a delicate white yoghurt with a jam base prepared with fruit from small farms, including the social cooperative “Il Sentiero”.

Appetisers shop open Monday to Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
