Terra Vino Vineria
Land and Wine, a combination that has always been linked to human history and expresses the soul of Valtellina.
You will perceive it in this winery, in Sondrio's piazzetta, which promotes wine culture not only through tasting but also by providing guests with a series of books and oenology manuals to consult with glass in hand.
“Terra” is also the host's nickname, who in addition to being a great wine connoisseur is also a bicycle enthusiast. Inside the two small rooms, leaning on the walls, you will probably find “heroic” racing bikes, to be admired. If you would like to discover the terraced vineyards on your own bike (or a rented one), organise a tour of the vineyards with Marco starting from the winery's piazzetta: he will accompany you on his bike, explaining where and how Nebbiolo delle Alpi is cultivated.
The wine selection is excellent, also by the glass: you can get advice among the various Valtellina labels or other artisanal wines, letting you tell the story and the territory they encompass. Marco will freshly slice the cold cuts of the day, presenting them to you on a wooden cutting board with cheese and rye bread. The selection of craft beers on tap and the gin are also excellent.
The venue overlooks the beautiful historic piazzetta, which at aperitif time comes alive with people surrounded by the charm of the sunset, intent on chatting and sipping a glass of wine.
