Posteria del Rosso

Once upon a time in Lombardy, there were posterias, small spaces used as meeting places where it was possible to buy and consume the products of the land, the fruit of man's labour, and transform meetings into a moment of conviviality and sharing thanks to a good glass of wine. In Tirano there is Posteria del Rosso, a combination of a wine shop and a restaurant, a spontaneous bond, typical of the Italian way of life. Wine is the master, surrounded by gastronomic specialities from all over Italy and Valtellina, carefully selected and cooked.

It is a perfect place for an aperitif, alternative for an easy or more demanding dinner, and fun for an after-dinner drink in a relaxed atmosphere. Drinks of all kinds are offered, wine, craft beer, spirits. Tastings of cold meats and cheeses are served and a cuisine with a few dishes that rotate often, following the seasonality of the land. The wine cellar has more than 200 labels, with a careful selection of wines from Valtellina but not only, ranging from the great Italian names to the most important French wines, without taking away space from small emerging wineries, including organic or biodynamic ones.

A young staff will welcome you, ready to satisfy your requests, especially the ‘greedy’ ones, in an informal and modern environment.
