La Svolta

Welcome to La Svolta, a lovely restaurant with rooms, run by Omar and his family. This simple and cosy environment is easily reached from the village of Chiuro, up a few bends between the terraced vineyards. There are 10 bright rooms, some with balconies, overlooking the vineyards, the valley and the peaks of the Alps. Each has a private bathroom and wi-fi connection.

Omar takes care of the restaurant and is a really good cook: he prepares traditional recipes excellently (his typical menu is very good value for money) and every day he offers a creative dish off the menu. Leave room for the desserts, they deserve it!

The wine list is essential but well cared for, with Valtellina wines from young producers who work the vineyards near the restaurant.

La Svolta is a point of reference for locals, but also for those who want to discover Omar's cuisine: interesting theme or tasting evenings, paired with tasty finger food.

In addition to the à la carte dishes, at lunch you will find the daily menu and at dinner the pizzas, baked in a wood-fired oven, with selected ingredients and care in the preparation of the dough. In summer the dining room opens onto the outdoor veranda. Large car park for guests!
