Il Poggio

It pleases both the eye and the palate. Driving along the panoramic road, a few kilometres from Sondrio, you will come across Il Poggio. Even before entering you will be enraptured by the sensational view of the vineyards of Inferno and Castel Grumello in the distance. Inside, a veranda to admire the view of the valley and excellent traditional cuisine, carried out with dedication by the Gianola family for more than 30 years, await you.

Don't miss the two famous specialities of the house: the blueberry violet gnocchi and the Tzigeüner, tender pieces of meat rolled on a wooden stick, barbecued in the fireplace in the middle of the room. Ideal if served with one of the many Valtellina wines on the menu, also by the glass.
