Riter

Riter is the historical nickname of the Mottolini family from Poggiridenti alto. Of farming origin, now also involved in other sectors, thanks to the drive of fourth-born Emilio, passionate about vines, wines and the territory, and the commitment of his son Ludovico, the project to return to "the way it was done" with a focus on environmental sustainability in the choices in the vineyard and in the cellar has taken shape. With ORGANIC certification since 2018, they cultivate their own vineyards, in the municipality of Poggiridenti, in the DOCG Inferno sub-zone.

With two other friends they share space, curiosity, passion and a cellar in Poggiridenti surrounded by the vineyards of Inferno. Three small farms with different cultivation methods and the same goal: to offer a wine that “concerns nature, derives from nature or conforms to its principles” while respecting the peculiarities of Chiavennasca, its nuances and their commitment to bring them out.
