Historic winery and wine bar in Chiuro. Nera Vini is a historic winery that has passed on its knowledge in the oenological field over the years and has been able to innovate its production. In 1982, Pietro Nera's sons Stefano and Simone established the Caven Camuna farm. The name comes from the discovery, among the vineyards, of some rupestrian signs on the rocks, dating back to the Camuna civilisation. You can admire them by following the “Caven archaeological path” through the terraced vineyards.

The company cultivates 30 hectares of vines, 13 of which are in the Inferno sub-zone. The main grape variety is Nebbiolo, of which the three most resistant clones have been selected according to the conditions in our valley.

A few years ago, on the main road, a wine bar was opened for tastings of Valtellina wines and products. It is always possible, by booking, to combine a visit to the cellar behind and a walk through the vineyards.
