Triasso and Sassella Agricultural Cooperative

Hidden from view, among the ancient rocks and Sassella vineyards, in the heart of the Valtellina Superiore DOCG to the west of Sondrio, the tiny hamlet of Triasso still preserves the ancient Valtellina wine-making tradition. On the terraces laboriously built by their ancestors, to take useful space from the sunny rocky slopes, the passionate members of the Triasso and Sassella Agricultural Cooperative tenaciously fight to safeguard this heritage of rural culture.

Clinging to their land like the roots of the precious Nebbiolo vine, they want to keep the tradition of good quality wine alive. Their cellar is a sequence of tunnels dug into the rock, guardian of an essential production that speaks only the language of Sassella.
