Plozza
For Plozza, innovation and love of tradition are an inseparable combination. The company, founded in 1919, combines creativity and innovative solutions with respect and grateful remembrance of the work carried out by those who came before it - and who, over the centuries, created a unique terraced landscape in Valtellina, almost entirely cultivated with Nebbiolo grapes. In 1946, Pietro Plozza was the first to market Sforzato, the quintessential Valtellina wine on which the company particularly focuses, offering a varied and also modern interpretation.
The focus on the uniqueness of Plozza's products is also evident in the packaging, which immediately stands out for its refined elegance and ability to communicate: minimalist labels in aluminium, brass, stone and pure gold embellish the company's wines, which can be tasted in the exclusive showroom made of glass and carbon fibre. The attractive modern architecture, which encloses a not-to-be-missed barrique cellar, is framed by centuries-old vineyards terraced on the mountainside.
