Gianatti Giorgio

In the heart of the Grumello sub-zone, just a few minutes' drive from Sondrio, you will find this small, historic family-run company. Giorgio's respect for the land is expressed more in deeds than in words, and in his wines you can find all the typicality of the places from which they come. With extreme care he cultivates 2 hectares of vines, practising viticulture with a low environmental impact, based on integrated pest management.

Interesting renovations have been made both in the cellar and in the winemaking equipment. The farm's renovations have gradually extended to the restoration of other buildings in the historical centre of Montagna in Valtellina, in the district called Ca' Paini.

Tasting Giorgio's wines also means taking a step back in time. In the room where you will be welcomed, you can admire the old tools once used by farmers.
